The King's Bed

The royal carpenters were presented with the following problem:

Dear Royal Carpenter,

Please build me a bed. I need it to be 7 feet long and 4 feet wide.

Thank you,

The king

We tried our best to solve this problem:

But in the end, all the beds were too small!

Our silly play!

Have you ever wondered what would happen if Hansel and Gretel ended up at Grandmother's house, and Little Red Riding Hood ended up at the witch's candy house? The students of Room 204 have been developing, writing, and practicing a play around this very idea. We did a performance for our pre-K buddies, and we are excited to perform for families, too!

Click here to see a copy of our script.

We would love to have you come to our classroom and see our play!
Who: Families of room 204 (if you have a sibling in another class, ask if they can come see it, too!)
When: Wednesday, April 12th, at 8:30am
Where: Our classroom, room 204

Expect a written invitation soon, but save the date!

Stream Tables

The geologists of Lab 204 used stream tables to test the effect of rivers on the land.

We started with having it rain on just sand.

Then we added a house to each stream table!

Finally, we tried to protect the house from the river. Here is a group explaining their design:
