After discussing what is a map, and looking at some examples of maps, we moved on to making our own maps. First, we made maps of our classroom. We imagined that a giant came and took the roof off of our school. Then, we imagined that we were robins eating worms out of the grass. Yum! Then a predator came, and we had to fly up into the sky. If we looked down from this
bird's eye view, what would our classroom look like?
